Who We Are
If you believe in the importance of investing your time in friendship, the Church and helping others, the Knights of Columbus is for you.  The Knights of Columbus is an organization of Catholic men and their families that derive a great sense of satisfaction from being able to develop lasting friendships with each other while helping the less fortunate.  In 1882, a young priest named Fr. Michael McGivney gathered a small group of Catholic Laymen together in New Haven Connecticut.  That group formed a fraternal benefit society to provide for widows of its members while offering fellowship among Catholic men.  That group of 12 has grown to over 1.7 million members located in over 13,000 councils all over the world.  We are devoted to the principals of Charity, Fraternity and Unity.  You may have seen us at the church during Respect Life Sunday each year offering the Rose for Life in exchange for your contributions that go entirely to support Pro Life activities.  You have seen us offering Keep Christ in Christmas signs and magnets.  You have seen us selling Crab Cakes and making funnel cakes at the St. Eleanor Faire in June.  We are here to support the priests, build our faith through involvement in rosary and other prayer services and in general service to our Church.  Our Charitable works extend to widows of deceased members, people in the community who need a helping hand, providing educational material to our RCIA candidates and awards to our students and altar servers.  If you are a man over 18 years of age and practicing your Catholic Faith, you are eligible to join the Knights of Columbus.  Click here to fill in a brief form so one of our members can contact you.
